One of the main reasons that we suffer from sleep problems is stress and anxiety. Life is hard and now that the economy has gone down the gurgler it is even harder for many if not most of us. Yet there are lots of studies that show meditation to be very effective at keeping us de-stressed. Amongst other things it reduces high blood pressure, reduces heart attacks and relieves depression.
