This post is about downloading the Sleep Sound program and the state of the email system. I am so frustrated! Its getting harder and harder to communicate with customers. Emails are going missing by the hundreds if not the thousands. Now that we have all been taught to rely on email contacts for our businesses, including and most importantly for customer support, we are having the rug pulled right out from under us.
I have had a good example this week. Someone bought the Sleep Sound program and contacted me for support. The file is large and he was having trouble downloading it. I responded. I got another email from him and clearly he had not seen my reply. This happened several times and each time I replied. This customer thought I was ignoring him. I hate that- I really love to give great responsive customer service and it looked as if I wasn’t. What can we do when this happens?
I haven’t got an answer though it would help if customers who want a reply checked their Spam folders because often that is where the emails they are missing have landed. Other times though, and especially with hotmail they are just not delivered.
Well they say you get what you pay for, so maybe it is time for a paid email service. I wouldn’t mind paying if it reduced Spam and got my emails to their targets. What do you think?
