New Insomnia Audios

by Liz on March 15, 2008

Sorry not to have written much in the insomnia blog lately. I have been working very hard to get my new Sleep Sounds audios and web site completed. The site has a radical new look with a brand new template and I have added a new audio to the Sleep Sound package. So now you get 6 audios for $57. Its cheaper than a meal out for two and a great bargain, if I say so myself.

On my new site you can listen to a clip of each of the 6 audios in the Sleep Sound program. It means downloading a snippet of each audio which is a bit clunky but I am working on a better system.  I didn't want to leave the old site up for another week while I get that work done though.

Have a look and please  give me some feedback on it. Does it work on your computer and screen resolution?  Its here: Sleep Sound.

I am using the audios to help me sleep again as I have been going through a bad patch lately and they still work really well for me.Not on a night when I drank strong coffee at 10 pm though! I don't always follow my own advice!Embarassed

Hi,

I agree with you our brain achieve relaxed concentration or lucid awareness when alpha waves, between 8 and 13 hertz, are present Music with about 60 heats per minute–particularly that of Mozart, Brahms, and Bach–shifts the brain’s activity from beta to the higher-awareness alpha waves.

Here is the post “What Music Can Benefits For Your Health?” I hope this article will provide more information to your reader.

Well I sort of agree. But don’t you guess there’s more to it?

Not really. It is a different way of inducing the body to relax.
You can read more about entrainment here
